"I hired Ben Giddens to install a new air conditioner system recently in a summer home, and he and his crew did a superlative job. The project cost exactly what he estimated, with no surprises, and the work was completed in a timely and quick fashion. The quality of the work appears to my eye to be very professional. I feel that Ben is a perfectionist and will not settle for anything less than perfect.

He appears to understand air conditioning systems very well, and is also very well versed in the many different types of systems out there. He very creatively recommended a unique proposal for my air conditioning needs, in which he installed a main conventional system on the main floor of the dwelling, and a pair of "mini-split" Mitsubishi units on the ground floor. That proved to be a very good recommendation, as the air temperatures for each of the three zones can be completely independently controlled. The mini-split system, by the way, is virtually completely silent but works unbelievably well. I could, in truth, make that space cold enough to function as a large walk-in refrigerator.

The system that he installed has worked flawlessly. I am considering installing the mini-split system in any future construction additions to my home in the future, as I have been exceedingly pleased with it across the board."

"Very knowledgeable & honest company. Giddens did a much more thorough inspection of my old a/c unit, duct work, and vents than the other companies. I replaced the original unit from 1987 which meant that the duct work and vents were that old too. Mr. Giddens was very good at explaining how to get the most out of the new unit and for it to work as efficient as possible. He explained that some of my duct work was not big enough to give max air flow. Also the vents were the old style that restricted airflow and the new type allows more air flow and can be directed as needed in the room. They were much less expensive than the higher quote and only slightly higher than the lowest quote (which didn't include changing out vents and some of the duct work). All-in-all, they did give me the best price when comparing 'apples to apples" and not just the bottom line price.

The Installation crew was very professional and courteous. They did a great job and finished slightly earlier than expected including cleaning up behind themselves (inside and outside) and showing me how to operate the new unit's thermostat.

I could not be more pleased with this company, their products and their staff. Their office called the morning of the installation to let me know they were on the way. They also called the next day to be sure everything was ok and to schedule a time for the owner, Ben Giddens to come by the house. Ben Giddens, came by the house a couple of days later to inspect their work and to be sure I was happy with everything. He also wanted to be sure everything had been explained about using the new unit and that I had all the paperwork. The following week I received an email from Giddens' A/C with my warranty."

"My heat pump went out on a VERY hot day. It had been installed by another company who had already messed up on a service call less than a year after install. Therefore I called Giddens on a recommendation. The technician was prompt, presentable, professional & respectful. I have COPD & heart problems & cannot tolerate high temperatures. So it was a very real emergency. The air handler had failed still under warranty. This week the overflow valve tripped on the day I was discharged from the hospital with pneumonia. I called Giddens from the hospital. Jodi at their office even remembered me. Bailey came that same night late & got it working. He finished the final repair the very next AM.
